Spectrum Services, Inc. completed a neutral host DAS project for the Las Vegas Convention Center’s North Hall and Headend Room. The North Hall portion of the project consisted of installing 27 omni-directional antennas and 33 directional antennas to provide coverage to the exhibit areas, meeting rooms and common areas. Connecting the antennas, Spectrum installed 46,500 ft of coaxial cable in approximately 15,000 ft of conduit. Providing the cellular coverage to the North Hall, Spectrum installed 9 remote cabinets connected to the Headend room by approximately 10,000 ft of fiber optic cable installed in a combination of conduit and cable tray. The Headend Room portion of the project consisted of the installation of forty-seven 19 inch racks with a combination of active and passive equipment, fiber optic patch panels, system controllers, associated D/C cabling and duplex fiber optic cables.
Design, permitting and installation of the Verizon equipment headend room at the T-Mobile arena located in Las Vegas, Nevada. This turnkey project included performing an A/C power load study on the existing distribution panel and the installation of 18 Verizon MRO remote radio heads for the LTE, AWS and PCS technologies on new racks. The MRO’s were located within the DAS neutral host equipment room and included the installation of all equipment, A/C and D/C power, fiber and RF cabling to interface with the DAS neutral host equipment.
